Handcrafted Spaces & Artistic Details
The Pump House is unlike a traditional wedding venue because every space has a story.
Owner and artist Doug Hopkins has transformed historic buildings and created handcrafted details throughout the property, including woodworking, stained glass, tile, and pottery. This Old House has even featured his restoration work.
Sustainable & Thoughtful Hospitality
We believe celebrations can be beautiful while caring for the environment.
The Pump House incorporates eco-conscious practices throughout the property, including sustainable landscaping, composting, recycling, and thoughtful restoration.
Guest Lodging Options
Depending on your package, lodging is either included or available for your guests. We always have the couple choose which lodging they stay in to maximize capacity.
Additional accommodations include:
Season House (4 individual suites)
Two off-site AirBnBs
Tent camping and campers are welcome at no additional lodging fee.
Guests staying on-site are welcome to enjoy our homemade breakfast. Guests staying in hotels & AirBnBs can enjoy our homemade breakfast for $15/person (free for kids 12 & under).
Guest lodging may be paid individually by guests, or couples may choose to cover lodging costs, package dependent.

Wednesday–Thursday for Up to 50 Guests
$5,000 + taxes
A relaxed midweek wedding surrounded by nature, handcrafted spaces, and the people you love most.
Micro weddings at The Pump House blend woodland beauty with artistic, industrial charm—perfect for couples looking for an intimate celebration without sacrificing the experience.
Included:
✓ Venue access Wednesday through Thursday at noon
✓ Our creekside ceremony location, known as the Sacred Spot
✓ Choice of Studio Hall or Brick Barn for cocktail hour and dinner
✓ Tables and chairs for ceremony and reception
✓ Two suites, the Manifold House honeymoon suite & Catawissa Cabin for one night
✓ Homemade breakfast the following morning
✓ Parking assistance
✓ Golf cart transportation
✓ Bose® Bluetooth-compatible PA speaker system

Your elopement can be peaceful, adventurous, simple, or completely personalized—the focus is your commitment and your story.
Included:

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we choose our own vendors?
Absolutely! We encourage couples to choose vendors who fit their style, vision, and budget. We also provide a Preferred Vendor Guide featuring professionals who know The Pump House and are familiar with our property.
For catering, we do require a professional wedding caterer or experienced event catering company for weekend weddings and micro weddings. This helps ensure food service, timing, staffing, and cleanup run smoothly throughout your celebration.
If alcohol is being served, weekend weddings and micro weddings must have a ServSafe-certified bartender or licensed professional bartending service. This helps ensure responsible service and allows everyone—including you—to relax and enjoy the celebration.

Can we have a rehearsal dinner?
Yes! One of the joys of a weekend wedding!
Can we decorate on Friday?
Yes. Weekend wedding couples may begin setup anytime on Friday.
Is the venue private?
Yes. All wedding couples enjoy exclusive use of the property during their reservation.
What happens if it rains?
The Pump House offers beautiful indoor options, including the restored Brick Barn and Studio Hall, so your celebration can continue comfortably.
What is the difference between the Full Lodging Package & the Two-Cabin Package?
The wedding experience, venue access, and included amenities are the same—the difference is how guest lodging is paid for.
Full Lodging Package:
The couple covers the cost of all included guest lodging as part of their wedding package. This is a great option for couples who want to provide accommodations for their family and friends. *On-site lodging included only in this package, not AirBnBs.
Two-Cabin Package:
The couple's lodging is included, and one additional guest accommodation (Catawissa Cabin). All other lodging is still reserved for your weekend. Guests pay for their rooms individually.
Both options allow your guests to stay on-site and enjoy the full Pump House wedding weekend experience.
